The 73’s, with a win tonight, or one more win in the series will advance to the Schmalz Cup Championship series for a 5th straight year.
After winning the Ontario Junior C championship in 2005. the 73’s have lost the past 3 finals, twice to Penetanguishene and last year to Alliston.
The Alliston Hornets have already gained their berth into the Schmalz Cup Final, eliminating Amherstview with a 5-4 overtime win in game 5 yesterday.
