It’s a done deal.
Town of Hanover workers agreed Thursday to a new three year contract with the town.
It provides wage increase of 2 per cent, 2.5 per cent and 3 per cent over the life of the agreement.
CUPE workers in the public works and recreation departments are covered by the agreement, along with several seasonal workers.
The deal was reached late last month in a conciliation session, and the town council voted on it earlier this week.
Some 20 workers are affected by the new agreement.
They voted 100 per cent in favour of the new contract.
