The deputy Mayor of Brockton has been charged in the theft of money from the liquor store he managed.
52 year old Rollie Anstett faces charges of theft under five thousand dollars and breach of trust.
He is to appear May 4th in a Walkerton court to answer to the charges.
South Bruce OPP say they began their probe at the request of the LCBO head office following its own internal investigation.
Anstett has served several terms on council, including during the E. coli water crisis in 2000.
