There were several thousand people in the region without hydro this morning due to the winter storm.
Hydro One’s website does not give the cause — but we can assume its weather related.
There were about 500 customers in the Amabel, Derby and Glenelg area without power.
Crews had electricity restored just before Noon.
And there were close to six thousand customers in the cold through Brockton, Kincardine, Arran Elderslie and West Grey.
Those people had electricity back shortly after 11 AM.
Hydro One also reported a major outage throughout many parts of Huron County just before 11 AM Monday.
Customers in parts of South Huron, Lambton Shores, Ashfield-Colbourne-Wawanosh, Central Huron, Goderich and Bluewater were affected.
The power came back on around 2 o’clock this afternoon.
