Owen Sound Police are looking for witnesses to a hit and run on 2nd Avenue East.
Police say it happened around 11:45 Saturday morning as a 52 year old Hanover woman was driving north on 2nd Ave East with her mother.
In the 900 block, she signaled and slowed intending to parallel park, and was struck from behind.
Both drivers got out of their vehicles and agreed to move to a safer location that would not obstruct traffic.
But instead of following the victim, the at-fault driver took off north bound on 2nd Ave East.
The victim was driving a 2008 black Honda and received about one thousand dollars in damage.
The suspect vehicle was being driven by a female, 20 to 25 years, with shoulder length black hair, 5 foot 2 to 5 foot 5 inches tall, and about 115 pounds.
The suspect vehicle is described as a small black car similar to a 2001 to 2005 Sunfire or Cavalier, with damage to the front bumper.
Anyone with information is asked to call City Police or Crime Stoppers.
