The Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League have signed Owen Sound Attack captain David Kolomatis.
Kolomatis, who has played 3 seasons in Owen Sound, had 18 goals & 46 points for the Attack this year.
Kolomatis, a New Jersey native, could return to the Attack next year as an overage player.

Today is the final day at the K2 Canadian Ski Championships near Vernon, B.C.
The Ladies Slalom is the final race of the event.
Tannis Boisvert from Owen Sound is in the field of competitors.
Boisvert, a student at the OSCVI, is hoping to extend her stay in B.C.
If she finishes among the top 5 Ontario skiers at the event, she will qualify for the Whistler Cup International Championship which begins next Friday in B.C.
