It’s that time of year again — time for 2008 salaries of public servants to be released on the Ontario Ministry of Finance website.
In this region of Bruce and Grey Counties — the Bluewater District Board of Education has the most members of the so-called Sunshine Club.
The public school board has 42 workers making over 100 thousand dollars a year.
Director of Education Mary Ann Alton tops that list with a salary just over 178 thousand dollars.
At the Grey Bruce Catholic School Board — 19 people cracked the 100 thousand dollar list, with Director of Education Bruce McPherson checking in at 146 thousand dollars.
Grey Bruce Health Services has 26 members with former President and CEO Pat Campbell making 278 thousand dollars.
That is the highest public sector salary in the area.
Judge Julia Morneau came in second place with a salary of just over 260 thousand dollars.
The former President and CEO of Grey Bruce Health Services Pat Campbell earned the most locally in 2008 — at 278 thousand dollars.
Next is Paul Davies — the President and CEO of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre at more than 208 thousand dollars.
Grey Bruce Medical Officer of Health Doctor Hazel Lynn came in fourth at 203 thousand dollars.
Collingwood G and M Hospital CEO Linda Davis checks in at 189 thousand dollars while Hanover Hospital CEO Katrina Wilson made 154 thousand.
On the municipal side, Grey County CAO Gary Wood made 143 thousand dollars while Bruce County CAO Wayne Jamison made just over 143 thousand dollars.
There are 9 employees of the City of Owen Sound on the list — the top earner last year was Chief Tom Kaye at more than 152 thousand dollars.

Saugeen Shores CAO Ron Brown made almost 131 thousand dollars last year.
Police Chief Dan Rivett earned over 109 thousand dollars.
Two other police services personnel were in the 100 thousand dollar bracket — including Insepctor Ken McCullough and Sergeant Ron Cuillerier.
Town of Hanover Police Chief Tracy David is at $107,634.43
Town of Hanover Michael Dunlop CAO is at $107,225.27
The CAO of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula Malcolm McIntosh comes in at $103,421.28
At the South Bruce Grey Health Centre — Vice President of Clinical Services Dianne Waram made $132,133.95
Registered Nurse Mary Ellen MacRobert hit $113,351.79.
Vice President of Corporate Services Walter Yewchyn made almost 109 thousand dollars last year.
Vice President of Corporate Development and Labour Relations Brenda Rantz at $105,339.60
