Ontario’s Energy Minister and Deputy Premier will be in Tiverton later this week.
George Smitherman will be at the official opening of Enbridge Ontario Wind Power’s 115-turbine project in Kincardine Friday afternoon.
The project will be capable of producing up to 190 megawatts of renewable electricity.
Other people at the event will include Kincardine Mayor Larry Kraemer and Carol Mitchell, MPP for Huron-Bruce.
Smitherman will also be in Hanover later Friday to mark the construction of the new multi use facility.
It will follow Premier Dalton McGuinty’s visit as the guest speaker to the Owen Sound Chamber of Commerce annual general meeting Thursday night.
