Both the Belleville Bulls and the Niagara Ice Dogs could advance to Round 2 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs with victories tonight.
In Belleville, the defending Eastern Conference Champion Bulls will try and dispatch the Sudbury Wolves.
What was expected to be a short series for Belleville, has been extended to game 6 tonight at the Yardman Arena with the Bulls holding a 3-2 series lead.
Game 6 of the Niagara-Ottawa series is tonight at the Civic Center in the Nation’s Capital.
The Ice Dogs lead it 3-2 and the the 67’s will need to win on home to extend the series.
If Sudbury & Ottawa win tonight, game 7 in both series will be tomorrow night.
