A 38-year-old North Huron woman arrested on a conspiracy to commit murder charge and counselling to commit murder charge appeared again in Goderich court this morning.
The question of whether to release the names of the accused was discussed.
Some area media have released the names of the man and woman charged in the investigation.
Acting Crown Attorney J.V. O’Donnell reminded reporters this morning of a publication ban on evidence presented in Court and that it’s up to reporters, News Directors and Editors whether to release the names.
O’Donnell reminded the media that releasing the names could also reveal the identity of the alleged intended victim.
A 38 year-old North Huron woman appeared by video-link from the Walkerton Jail this morning and will do so again next Wednesday.
A 39 year-old Wingham man appears in Goderich Court tomorrow morning.
