High drama in Teeswater.
An OPP Negotiating Team was called in early this morning to help deal with a man who would not leave his apartment.
South Bruce OPP say a 42 year old suspect was seen smashing three store windows with a hammer yesterday before returning home.
But he wouldn’t leave so Police say they had to seal off the area around his apartment in the interest of public safety.
12 hours later, the Negotiating team arrived but that didn’t help.
Police say they had to break down the door and the man was taken into custody.
No one was hurt.
The suspect is now at the Owen Sound hospital for treatment.
