The Owen Sound Attack will try and hold off elimination on Wednesday night when they host the Windsor Spitfires in game 4 of their OHL Western Conference Quarterfinal.
The Attack lost 6-1 yesterday at Windsor in game 3, giving the Spitfires a commanding 3 games to none lead in their best of 7.
Game 4 is Wednesday night at 7 pm at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Center.
If the Attack win on Wednesday, it will create a 5th game in the series Friday night at Windsor.

The Owen Sound Attack named third year forward Mike Lomas as the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week.
Lomas scored goals in all three games against the Windsor Spitfires last week in the Western Conference quarter final match up.
Lomas was also able to pick up an assist in game two and finished the week an even plus/minus rating.
The Attack will be back in action Wednesday when they host the Spitfires for game four of the Western Conference Quarter Finals.
Windsor leads the best of 7; 3 games to none.

The Walkerton Hawks are trailing the defending Ontario Champion Alliston Hornets 2 games to none in their best of 7 quarterfinal.
Alliston won 9-6 at home last night to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

The Canadian Ski Racing Championships continue in Quebec.
Owen Sound skier Larisa Yurkiw posted a pair of second place finishes yesterday.
Yurkiw finished second to Britt Janyk in the Ladies Super G yesterday, just over a second off the winning time.
In the Super Combined result, Marie-Michle Gagnon of Quebec roared up the standings to take the title, besting Yurkiw by a fraction of a second.
Today is an off day for the Canadian Ladies championship with the final race, the Giant Slalom set for tomorrow.

On Saturday, the Boston Pizza Novice Hockey League will have their year end function.
As part of the event, there will be a draw to select the Boston Pizza-Bearadio player of the year.
On every edition of Bruce Telecom Bearadio this year, one lucky player in the Boston Pizza League was spotlighted and that player had their name put into the year end draw.
On Saturday, the draw will be made and the winner of the draw will gain a Pizza Party from Boston Pizza for the entire team as part of their Grand Prize.

The annual Crone Cup Hockey Game is set for Friday at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Center.
The event begins at 1 pm with a skills competition involving Elementary students, Junior School students and Secondary School students.
The Crone Cup Games is at 2 pm, pitting the West Hill Lady Raiders against the OSCVI Lady Falcons.
Once again, proceeds from the game will go to ” Shoot For A Cure “, Spinal Cure Research.
Plus, the organizers have also confirmed that a portion of the proceeds will also be directed to the Hyland Family to assist with expenses they are facing after Ian was paralysed in a snowboarding accident.
