One man is dead after an SUV… went off the Meaford harbour wall and broke thru the ice in the harbour.
It happened about 10 this morning.
Meaford OPP, the Meaford fire department and ambulance all responded to the scene.
The victim was pulled from the dark SUV and rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Grey county OPP media relations officer Steve Starr says the man is believed to be in his 60’s but a name has not been released.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
