Kincardine Council’s Planning Advisory Committee has approved a zoning change that will see a commercial property gradually become residential.
The building at the corner of Walsh and Russell Streets has vacant commercial space in it and the owner would like to turn it into departments.
A variety store still operates in part of the building.
If the variety store ever closes, the owner will also be able to turn that space into apartments as well.
