An Internet con artist will be spending more time behind bars.
Ontario’s top court has upheld an 18-month sentence against 50-year-old Enrico Cagnotti of Tiny Township, saying he deserved a stiffer sentence.
Cagnotti was found guilty in Owen Sound court last November of breaking a court order that he not visit dating websites.
He already had a long record of fraud-related counts, some relating to lying to single women in order to get money from them.
Court heard Cagnotti told one woman he owned his own airline, and told another he drove a million dollar Mercedes.
