Many residents in our region are preparing for new government travel rules.
As of June 1st all Canadians entering the US will have to have a passport.
Earlier this week — a passport clinic was held in Port Elgin at the legion, hosted by Huron Bruce MP Ben Lobb’s office.
More than 125 residents took advantage of the clinic.
In a release, Lobb says they want to bring government services to the constiuents – such as passport clinics, to eliminate the need to travel to actual passport offices, hours away.
If you were unable to attend the clinic and are in the area wanting one – you can always visit your local MP’s constituet office for passport assistance.
