A Wasaga-Beach based police officer has been found not guilty on the assault charges he’s been facing following an arrest at a nightclub the summer of 2007.
A three-day trial was held in Collingwood in February, and Huronia West OPP Constable Mark Connor was declared not guilty in Newmarket court earlier this month (March 4).
The complaint was made by a patron who was being arrested at Bananas nightclub over the Civic Holiday weekend.
The judge in the case said the testimony of the man who made the complaint wasn’t reliable.
