The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks are moving on in WOAA senior hockey.
The Hawks won last night, 4-2 over Palmerston 81’s.
It was the Chad Little show as the Winterhawks centre potted three of the team’s four goals.
The other marker came from Curtis Johnson.
The 81’s tied the score at one by the end of the first period but the Wintehawks scored two unanswered goals in the second.
The teams traded goals in the 3rd period.
So the Winterhawks move on to the next round against the winner of the Shelburne/Elora series which is still going on.
However the first game in the next series will be played next Friday night at the Plex.
