The 2009 Haywood Ski Nationals continue at the Highlands Nordic Ski Resort in Duntroon.
Icy conditions caused the cancellation of Wednesday’s races.
However the Junior Boys and Girls, Juveniles and Para Nordic racers were ready and raring to go on the Sprint Course yesterday.
Jerry King of Duntroon came in first in the Top Highlands Trailblazers: Para Nordic Standing Men category.
Megan Sinclair of Duntroon was 41st in the Junior Girls category.
Jordan Cascagnette from Penetanquishene finished 3rd in Jr. Boys.
Races continue today with the Men and Women competing in the head to head Sprint Races.
The morning will be individual start qualifying races and then in the afternoon the exciting, head to head heat finals will take place.
