The funeral is today in Sudbury for the girl who died on a school ski trip to Blue Mountain a week ago.
A service for Elizabeth Reurink, who attended School in London is being held in her mother’s and grandparents’ hometown.
Reurink skied into a tree at the bottom of a hill at Blue last Thursday.
After the accident, the London Catholic School Board cancelled all remaining snow-related school trips this year and is reviewing its policies.
Reurink is the third person to be killed on the ski hill of southern Ontario so far this winter.
