The Owen Sound Attack, in partnership with Macarmill Productions is pleased to announce that Country Music recording artist, Tommy Gilham will be singing the national anthem this Saturday when the Attack play host to the Windsor Spitfires.
Tommy Gilham grew up on good ole’ Country Gospel where he quickly realized that music is where he wanted to go in life, travelling to Nashville every chance he had to write with other artists. He landed a deal with Polygram writing, and joined Saddle Tramp. “We were on Charlie Daniels label opening for some of the biggest acts in the bizz!” Since then, Tommy has opened for such Country Greats as; Hank Williams Jr., Deana Carter, Montgomery Gentry, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marty Stewart and many others. He was featured on TNNs Road to Stardom, hosted by Trace Adkins as well as a selected appearance on TNNs Cerebral Palsy Telethon. Tommy and his new working band, the Gasoline Alley Band, play many shows and fundraising functions in the Owen Sound area, and is a great addition to the Young Guns of Country lineup, coming September to the Bayshore Community Center, Owen Sound.
