Grey County OPP are warning residents, especially the elderly about possible suspicious activity.
Police say an elderly Chatsworth woman recently received a call from a woman asking several questions about whether she lived alone and if she had any dogs.
When the woman asked the caller why she was being questioned — the caller hung up.
Police believe the line of questioning was aimed at obtaining information to assess the vulnerability of the home owner and whether they were a good target for a break in.
Police again remind us not to disclose personal information on the phone to strangers.
