The WOAA Senior A Mens playoff series between the Winterhawks and the 81s will go at least one more game.
Palmerston managed an 8-5 win over Saugeen Shores and now trail the best-of-seven series 3 games to 1.
Curtis Pinder and Kevin Beirnes led the way for the 81s with two goals each.
Beirnes second goal broke a 5-all tie in the third period and gave the 81s the lead for good.
The Winterhawks managed to tie the game after being down 2-0, 3-1, 4-3, and 5-4 but were not able to take the lead.
Palmerston also got goals from Dan Richardson, Brent Cochrane, Brad Kenny, and Vince Laise.
Bill Monkman scored twice for Saugeen Shores with Ryan Crombeen, Jason Hutchinson, and Chad Little adding singles.
Game 5 is this Friday night at the Plex in Port Elgin.
Of note: The 81s fired Head Coach Steve Kucherway, one day after losing Game 3 Friday and he was replaced on an interim basis by Assistant Geoff Gunson.
