Simcoe County Council is getting it’s message out to households.
Warden Tony Guergis says 190 thousand houses will get a package that outlines how county council works, so people in the county get a better understanding of how things work.
He says the cost is less than 90 cents per household, and it really answers the question of what council does.
Guergis says that although it has a really low cost, it is a very high quality document.
He adds even some county councillors don’t have a clear understanding of what council does, and people wonder who the councillors are, and how them make decisions.
Guergis hopes people keep the document on their coffee table to refer to, and says it will really answer the questions people have about county council.
