A Chatsworth man is serving house arrest after being arrested as part of a half a million dollar drug bust last year.
58 year old Michael Stevenato pleaded guilty to drug production, possession of a prohibited weapon and theft of electricity in Owen Sound court.
He received an 18 month conditional sentence plus two years probation and he is banned from owning a weapon for 10 years.
Stevenato was one of two people arrested after Grey County OPP raided a home in Chatsworth in October 2007.
Police found an indoor marijuana grow operation, with 393-thousand dollars worth of marihuana plants and a loaded semi-automatic handgun.
But charges against the second suspect — a Brampton man — were withdrawn.
