Two Men now face 16 charges in connection with a bank robbery in Harriston.
On December 12, 2008 at about 2 PM — Wellington OPP were called to the CIBC bank located on Elora Street South in Harriston.
The lone robber had entered the branch, brandished a handgun, searched the
cashier’s money drawers and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect fled in a late model black Saab.
The car was reported stolen from the Mount Forest area December 11th.
A 38 year old Clifford man is charged with several offences including robbery, possession of a firearm, and auto theft .
He appears in court March 13th.
A 19 year old Sutton man is also facing similar charges.
He appears in Guelph court March 4th.
