A fundraiser is being held tonight in Wasaga Beach for the family of Penny Warne.
Warne has been missing since February 11th.
Her daughter Amy Warne says police aren’t actually out physically searching, but are following up any tips they get in their investigation.
Amy says so far police and residents haven’t given her any hopeful tips, but she can’t elaborate.
She tells us so far over 13 hundred people have posted comments on Facebook.
She adds community support is how she’s getting through this waiting game.
Amy is thankful Cheerleaders in Wasaga is donating a dollar from certain drinks and menu items to help the family with any costs and lost wages since Amy can’t work during this ordeal.
The fundraiser is tonight from 8 PM until closing.
