John Tory’s byelection loss is not getting much sympathy from maverick Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Murdoch.
In fact Murdoch lays the blame for the party’s misfortunes directly at the feet of Tory saying his“egotism” cost the party a seat and a Provincial election.
He says this by election loss should be the final stake in the heart of John Tory.
Murdoch says as a result of Torys poor leadership the party is in the worst shape its been in years and it will take a massive effort to rebuild.
As for his future, Murdoch says he always has been a conservative and if there is a new leader, he would consider returning to the Conservative fold.
Murdoch says he will be open to discussion to comeback to caucus.
