Hot Heaven Saunas is closing its doors in Port Elgin at the end of March.
Owner Richard Orosz tells Bayshore Broadcasting News they just can’t make a go of it in the community.
Orosz says the facility has been providing infrared sauna treatments, since January of 2007.
Hot Heaven also offers shiatsu message therapies ala carte or as part of a sauna session.
He says they started strong in their first few months, but have had difficulty bringing customers back.
Orosz boasts a client list of more than six hundred – and can’t understand when most indicated they were happy with the service, why they would not return.
Orosz says they are based out of Guelph, and will open the same – operation there.
He is told the business is thriving in larger centres.
