The family of Penny Warne is thankful they have some much community support to get them through this waiting period.
Daughter Amy Warne says police aren’t out physically searching for her mom today, they are concentrating on following up tips at this point.
Amy says police can’t tell her what those leads are and she finds it a bit frustrating, but she understands and feels police are doing a good job.
She says she is thankful for good friends and family around her and also for the generosity of Wal-mart and its staff for helping financially since she can’t work during this tough time.
Amy says people have also been generous with bringing food for her and her brother Douglas.
Amy says they are also grateful for all the support on Facebook.
She tells us they have received over a thousand messages.
The investigation into the disappearance of 57 year old Penny Warne is now into its 14th day.
The Wasaga Beach woman, who works at Wal-mart, was last seen leaving work on February 11th and worried friends and family called police on the 15th.
