In high school basketball, Walkerton District Secondary School hosted the CWOSSA A Boys Basketball Championships.
In the Junior Boys Semi-Finals, Del High defeated Walkerton District 57-23. The other had Rockway from Kitchener over Peninsula Shores 57-40.
Rockway then went on to edge Del High 46-45 in the Junior Boys finals.
Over to the Senior Boys Division, Matt West poured in 35 points for the Knights however Walkerton District went on to lose 59-50 to Waterford in overtime. the other semi-final game saw Rockway beating Peninsula Shores 57-23.
In the senior final, Waterford knocked off Rockway 69-51.
