Time for some decisions to be made in Kincardine.
No, council is not on the hot seat again.
The President of the Kincardine and District Chamber of Commerce Marie Wilson says they’re looking for the top businesses and services in the area, along with the Citizen of the Year.
Wilson says there are 11 categories to choose from and nominations need to be in by end of business day Friday.
She says the nominees don’t necessarily need to be a member of the Chambert and those doing the nomination don’t need to be members either.
It’s open to the entire community.
The winners in the various categories will be announced probably late next week.
The winners will be formally recognized at the annual Community Achievement Awards Gala on March 21st at the Governor’s Inn.
Wilson says all they’re looking for from nominators are a few short paragraphs on why you think the one you have chosen should receive the award.
Tickets for the gala are on sale now at 40 dollars each and the night includes a social hour, a meal and the awards.
