The hunt is on for the 2009 Bruce/Grey Woman of Distinction.
International Women’s Day Committee Chair Beverly Spence says nominations are being accepted until Friday, February 27th.
Spence says the winner will be announced on March 8th during the special International Women’s Day luncheon in Port Elgin.
Spence says they’re looking for a woman who is a positive role model in the community who mentors or educates women or girls.
They’re looking for someone creative and innovative who takes risks to make a positive difference.
Spence it can be anyone in our communities as long as they have made that positive impact on other women and girls.
