Giant Tiger in Port Elgin is renovating.
Store owner Rick Bourdeau says over the next two weeks, you see a brand new facade on the building in south Port Elgin.
Bourdeau says they’ve spent about 100 thousand dollars turning a solid brick wall into a five-window glass front.
In addition, they’ve widened their sidewalk area and plan to have special events and displays of products outside during the summer season.
Bourdeau says they believe this will give the outlet excellent road appeal.
He says it has been business as usual during the renovations.
Bourdeau says they’ll start with the May long weekend and every weekend thereafter there will be some sort of activity on their newly widened sidewalk area.
