A car salesman is facing charges for selling a stolen car.
Grey County OPP say a 2006 Chevrolet HHR was reported stolen from a
commercial car lot in Mississauga in January of 2008.
It turns out a man employed at an Orangeville car dealership sold the vehicle to a Dundalk man a few days later.
Then the owner of the property where the car was being stored became suspicous and contacted Grey County OPP this past December.
Police say their investigation resulted in the arrest of the man who sold the vehicle.
The 62 year old Caledon man has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
He will appear in Orangeville court on March 31st.
