You’ll see more than maple trees and construction on the streets of Creemore today, as soldiers from CFB Borden invade the town on a training mission.
The unarmed soldiers will be in groups of two to four, carrying maps and compasses and have been encouraged to talk to the people in the village.
The exercise is designed to help the soldiers learn how to conduct military operations in a populated area.
The same exercises will take place in Barrie and Alliston in the next few days.
