Never mind what you hear about the economy in other parts of the world, the fact of the matter is, Saugeen Shores and area is going to be busy this summer and that means jobs.
The Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce and the Business Enterprise Centre are presenting the second Community Job Fair tomorrow at the Rotary Hall in the Plex in Saugeen Shores.
Chamber General Manager Joanne Robbins says it’s one stop shopping if you’re looking for a full or part time job.
Robbins says it could be an employees market as many businesses are looking for good help as the summer tourist season approaches.
Many of the employers will be gathered at the Plex to accept resumes and to talk to prospective employees.
Jill Roote of the Business Enterprise Centre says the job fair satisfies both sides in the equation.
Those looking for work can do some one-stop shopping and those providing work will have access to hundreds of possible candidates for their jobs.
Last year over 300 people took advantage of the job fair.
This year there are well over 20 businesses and services taking part in the job fair.
The fair runs tomorrow from 1 PM to 4 PM in the Rotary Hall at the Plex in Saugeen Shores.
