There is warning about another phone scam.
The OPP want you to be wary of phone calls from persons claiming to be employees of Sears Canada and mail seemingly addressed from Sears Canada.
The caller advises the intended victim they have won a contest and ask them to complete a skill testing question.
About two weeks later an envelope arrives containing a form which you have to complete with your Sears Canada account number and other personal information.
Police say you should be cautious about releasing any personal information.
If you suspect it is a scam, do not provide information and call the Police.
