A desperate family continues to wait this morning for news of their missing mother.
57 year old Penny Warne of Wasaga Beach was last seen on Wednesday the 11th of February as she left work at the Walmart in the east end of the Beach.
Friends became worried when she didn’t show up for work on Friday, and contacted police Sunday when they went into her house and found it empty.
Police divers searched Nottawasaga river yesterday.
Her car was found at her home, and her purse and cellphone were found inside the house.
Her worried children have been putting up missing persons posters around the town since the weekend, hoping someone might have caught a glimpse of her.
Warne is white with blonde wavy hair, a fair complexion.
She is about 5 foot 5 with a medium build and she wears glasses.
