A developer with major plans for new commercial and residential development in Ripley is pressing on with his plans.
David Brown says detailed surveys of the properties he owns in the village are underway and an architect is coming up with conceptual drawings to present to the township and county when it comes time to make zoning changes.
He’s hoping those documents are ready to present to the various authorities in April or May this year.
As for construction, Brown would like to start that before the end of the year too.
He says he’d like to get things underway at the former Courtney Grain and Seed building late this year.
