Durzi Earns Huron Tractor Award

The Owen Sound Attack has named defenceman Sean Durzi the Huron Tractor Supply Player of the Week for Week 12 of the Ontario Hockey League season after putting up four points in two games.

Durzi, a native of Mississauga, scored once and added a helper in Owen Sound's 6-3 loss to Guelph on Friday, Dec. 8 before contributing a pair of assists in a 5-4 win over Flint on Saturday night - a victory that snapped the Attack's six game losing streak.

Now with a career high 42 points in just 27 games played, Durzi is 8th in the OHL scoring race while also leading all defenceman in scoring.

His 14 goals and 28 assists also puts him at 2nd in the Attack's scoring race, just two shy of forward Nick Suzuki.

Durzi - who has now been named the Huron Tractor Supply Player of the Week twice this season - and his teammates will wrap up their pre-Christmas schedule with a trio of games beginning on Thursday, Dec. 14 in Barrie against the Colts.

You can hear the Attack & Colts live on 560 CFOS with Kia of Owen Sound-Terry's Trailer Service Bearadio.

Bearadio is brought to you in part by the Attack Luxury Suites.
