The Owen Sound Attack made a move to add some depth up front.

The Attack acquired left-winger Daniil Vertiy from the Saginaw Spirit in exchange for a conditional 15th round pick in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection, the team announced Saturday afternoon.

In 22 games with Saginaw and North Bay this season, the 5-foot-11, 205-pound Vertiy has 11 points (2G, 9A).

Vertiy is from Nizhnevartovsk, Russia, and started his OHL career with the Windsor Spitfires after being taken 26th overall in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.

The 19-year-old winger has 29 goals and 45 assists over 186 games in parts of four seasons with Windsor, North Bay and Saginaw.

According to a statement on the team's website, Vertiy is expected to make his Attack debut in the team's Dec. 8 road game against the Guelph Storm.
