Suzuki Leads Attack Past Flint

Owen Sound goes 2-2 in four straight road games

Nick Suzuki scored three goals for his fourth career hat trick to lead the Owen Sound Attack to a 6-4 win over the Flint Firebirds Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League action at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Centre.

The Attack (12-7-0-2) finished 2-2 over a stretch of four straight road games and climbed within six points of Kitchener (15-6-2-0) for top spot in the Midwest Division, with two games in hand.

Maksim Sushko scored the game winner, breaking a 3-3 tie early in the 3rd period for Owen Sound.

Aidan Dudas had three assists in the victory while underage netminder Mack Guzda who played all 3 games on the road this weekend picked up the win in net

Wednesday night, the Attack host the Niagara IceDogs at 7 pm at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Centre.
