Trippin' with Tippin

Owen Sound | by Fred Wallace

Skip Goes from PEI to Soo....then Ottawa

Owen Sound curler Julie Tippin was back in Owen Sound......briefly this week.

Tippin is the skip for the Woodstock Curling Club who won the " B " side at the Road to the Roar competition Sunday at Summerside, Prince Edward Island.

As a result of that victory, the Tippin rink earned a berth in the Canadian Olympic Curling Trials set for early December at Ottawa where the winning rink is Canada's representative at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in South Korea.

In whirlwind fashion, Tippin returned to Owen Sound from Prince Edward Island, but only long enough to re-pack and head to another major curling event at Sault Ste Marie

Julie Tippin spoke to Fred Wallace about the victory at PEI & what's ahead.
