The Owen Sound Aquatic Club is conducting their annual McDonald's Canadian Record Challenge Meet at the Owen Sound Y Pool.
The 3 day event commences Friday April 7th and runs through Sunday the 9th.
The Canadian Record Challenge meet is a cash-for-record competition whereby the local McDonald's puts up $ 1,000 IF a swimmer breaks an existing Canadian record.
Over the course of time, 2 swimmers plus a relay team have earned the $ 1,000 payout by virtue of breaking an existing Canadian record in the Owen Sound Pool.
Fred Wallace spoke to Brian O'Doherty of the Owen Sound Aquatic Club about the 2017 McDonald's Challenge Meet.
