Hounds Tighten Western Standings

Greyhounds 6 Sting 3

Overage Bobby MacIntyre scored twice for the Greyhounds while Boris Katchouk and Morgan Frost each had a goal and two assists

Colton White and Jack Kopacka also scored for Sault Ste. Marie who have won 3 in a row and have points in their last 7 games.

With the win, the Greyhounds move to within 1 point of Erie for 1st in the Western Conference.

Drake Rymsha scored twice for the Sting while former Greyhound first rounder Anthony Salinitry had the other Sarnia goal.



Spirit 5 Firebirds 4 (SO)

Marcus Crawford scored in regulation and in the shootout for the Spirit who have won 3 straight and sit 6 points back of Sarnia for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Kris Bennett scored twice in regulation for Saginaw while Matthew Kreis had the other marker.

Everett Clark, Ty Dellandrea, Nicholas Caamano and Ryan Moore scored for the Firebirds (32-25-6).

With the point for losing in the shootout, Flint moves to 70 points, 2 back of Kitchener for 6th in the Western Conference.



Battalion 4 Wolves 2

Steve Harland scored twice for the Battalion who moved into a tie with Niagara for 8th in the Eastern Conference, 1 point back of Sudbury.

Rhys Forhan and Daniil Vertiy had the other goals for North Bay.

Drake Pilon and Zach Wilkie scored for the Wolves who have lost 5 straight.



Tonight, the Owen Sound Attack who have points in their last 5 outings will be at Niagara to face the IceDogs
