Kijowski Scores in OT... Again!
Kings forward gets winner to force 7th game in Penetanguishene.
For the second straight game, the Penetang Kings avoid elimination with an overtime goal.
Both goals were scored by Colin Kijowski.
His second of the game gave Penetang a 4-3 victory over the Davenport Orillia Terriers Saturday night.
The win means there will be a 7th and deciding game in the PJHL Carruthers Division Quarterfinal Series Sunday night in Penetanguishene.
Mike Barroso gave Orillia a 1-0 with 31 seconds left in the first period.
Michael Paul answered for Penetang with 37 seconds left in the second period to tie the game at 1-1.
With the Kings up 3-2 in the third, Jake Shaw buried a loose puck in front of Jason Cumbo to tie the game at 3-3.
Shaw (2 goals, 1 assist) finished with 3 points while Marty Lawlor collected 2 assists for the Terriers.
Paul and former Terrier Trenton Micks each had a goal and an assist for the Kings.
Cumbo stopped 32 shots in the win while former King Andrew North made 35 saves in the loss.
Both teams each went 0-for-4 on the power play.
