Siskins In Control Over Terriers

Trott, Taylor, and King each with 2 goals for Stayner; Blunt scores on penalty shot for Orillia.

Another dominating performance by the Stayner Siskins.
Zach Trott, Jordan Taylor, and Nolan King each had two goals in a 10-1 win over the Davenport Orillia Terriers Saturday night at Rotary Place.
It wasn't until midway through the second period when the Siskins blew it open with four goals to take a 7-1 lead.
King, Ben Hughes (1 goal, 3 assists), and Jackson Clarke (4 assists) finished with 4 points a piece.
Dallin Blunt got the only goal for the Terriers on a penalty shot in the first period.
The Siskins were without Ben Skuce, JD Falconer, and Lucas Jeffery in the line up.
Eric Pitcher made 20 saves in net for the Siskins while Brendan Dale stopped 33 shots for the Terriers.
Stayner were 1-for-2 with the man advantage, Orillia did not score on two opportunities.
The win moves the Siskins to within a point of idle Alliston for first place in the Carruthers division.
The loss keeps the Terriers 2 points back of Huntsville and Midland for 4th place.
The next game for the Terriers is next Saturday night when they host the Schomberg Cougars at Rotary Place.
