at Ottawa

9 am Bronze Medal game

St Mary's Mustangs ( #4) vs (#3) Arnprior

Yesterday, the Lady Mustangs defeated Barrie Central 24-7 in the quarterfinal but were beaten by Belleville Bayside 24-0 in the semifinal

In the win over Barrie Central Julia Paquette had 2 tries and 2 converts.






OFSAA " A-AA " Boys Field Lacrosse

at Georgetown

The OSCVI Falcons finished 5th overall.

Yesterday, the Falcons won twice, downing Corpus Christie 11-5, and then defeating Crestwood 10-4.

The Owen Sound Selects split a doubleheader with the Wiarton Nationals.

The Selects won the opener 5-2

Mike Roote got  the win.

Wiarton won Game 2 13-1.

Mike Roote had home runs in both games for Owen Sound

Keri Urbshott pitch first 5 innings, then Tammy Klages came in for last two inning for the Gators.

Keri Emke had a triple and a double while Trudy Waugh had a double in the win.

Leann Cochrane had 11 strikeouts for Bulldogs.

Emily McAdam went the distance on the mound, scattering 4 hits with 5 strikeouts.

McAdam helped her cause with a double and single,

Kaitlyn Knox, Hillary Holyome and Gillyan Kennedy had doubles.
