Kings Eliminate Flyers

North with 24 saves for Penetang in 3-0 win and five game series victory.

The Penetang Kings are moving on to the next round of the Georgian Mid-Ontario Junior C playoffs.

Andrew North made 24 saves as the Kings blanked the Midland Flyers 3-0 Friday night to take the best-of-seven first round series in five games.
 
Penetang took a 1-0 first period lead on a goal by Hayden Cole -- his first game with the Kings this season.
 
Craig Robertson made it 2-0 with his short-handed goal early in the second.
 
Braeden Dorion scored into an empty net in the third.
 
The game got pretty chippy as 13 of the 16 combined penalties were called in the second half.
 
Jake Norton had 31 saves for the Flyers.
 
Penetang failed to score on 6 power play opportunities, Midland went 0-for-6.
 
The Kings will take on the Caledon Golden Hawks in the semi-final round.
